Aesthetic doctor Maryam Zamani discusses summer and how to protect ourselves from some of the damaging effects of sun exposure. She shares her advice on dealing with excema and itchy eyes. Mentioning opical calcineurin inhibitors such as Elidel or Protopic which can also be used for long-term maintenance treatment. Avoidance of products with soap or perfume is paramount. Dr Zamani also discusses vitamin D and mineral based sunscreens with zinc oxide or titanium dioxide.
